Privacy policy
Last updated: October 31, 2026
At Tech Connect DR we respect your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information from the website, inquiries, ticket portal and time clock and payroll tools, why we use it and how you can contact us about it.
1. Who we are
Tech Connect DR is a tech support, networking, servers, cybersecurity and web development company. For anything related to your information, email us at info@techconnectdr.com or call 829-278-4008.
2. What information we collect
We process information that you or your company's authorized users provide, together with the records needed to operate these tools:
- Contact form data: name, email, phone or WhatsApp, company, service of interest, number of computers and your message.
- Messages you send us by WhatsApp, email or phone.
- During a remote support session, the information visible on your screen while we help you.
- Tickets: name, company, email, phone, language, category, priority, issue description, attachments, replies, internal team notes, statuses and follow up dates.
- Administrative access: email, account identifier, session, invitations and assigned role. Clients do not need an account to create or view their ticket.
- Time clock: company, employee name and position, identification PIN, registered computer, clock ins, clock outs, breaks, schedules, absences, vacation, requests, notes and correction history.
- Payroll: hourly rates, incentives, adjustments, deductions, calculated hours and period review status. Reports can be downloaded in Excel.
- Technical access and operational data, such as punch attempt logs and the visit statistics described in this policy.
3. How we use it
We use your information only to:
- Answer your questions and prepare quotes.
- Provide the service or tech support you requested.
- Coordinate visits, retainers and follow up on your cases.
- Create and track tickets, display public replies and keep internal support notes.
- Authenticate administrators, owners and supervisors, manage invitations and apply access permissions.
- Record attendance, manage schedules and time off, calculate payroll under the company's selected rules and generate reports.
- Send requested sign in links and operational support or attendance alerts, and record changes for review.
- Meet legal, accounting or tax obligations.
4. What we don't do
We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties for advertising. We do not add you to mailing lists without your permission.
5. Third-party services
To run the site we use a few external services that may process technical data or the data you send:
- FormSubmit: delivers contact form messages to our email.
- Vercel: hosts the website and may log technical data such as your IP address and browser for security purposes.
- Vercel Web Analytics: counts visits anonymously (pages viewed, country, device type and where you came from) without cookies and without identifying you personally.
- Supabase: stores tickets, attachments and time clock records, and manages authentication and permissions. The project uses the eastern United States region.
- Resend: delivers Supabase authentication emails, such as requested sign in links.
- ntfy: delivers new ticket and reply alerts to the Tech Connect team, and time clock alerts when configured by the company. Depending on the alert, it may process names of people or companies, ticket references and attendance information.
- WhatsApp (Meta): if you message us on WhatsApp, your conversation is also governed by WhatsApp's privacy policy.
- Windows Quick Assist, AnyDesk, TeamViewer or RustDesk: if you receive remote support, the connection goes through the program you choose.
6. Browser storage and statistics
Vercel Web Analytics produces anonymous, aggregated statistics without cookies and without tracking you across other sites. The support and attendance tools also use local browser storage to operate, which is different from advertising cookies.
- Ticket portal: saves recent ticket references and private links in that browser. If you choose to remember your details, it also saves your name, company, email and phone.
- Access and preferences: session data is retained. The administration language and ticket reference are saved to return to the ticket dashboard after sign in. The time clock saves the selected language and company.
- Clock computer: saves the device activation identifier and company details. While offline, it saves pending punches, including the entered PIN, to send when the connection returns.
- Other people using the same browser profile could access saved data or an open session. Sign out on shared computers. Clearing browser data may remove saved links, sign you out, deactivate the clock in that browser or lose punches awaiting synchronization.
7. Remote support
We only connect to your devices when you request and authorize it. You can see everything we do and end the session at any time. We do not copy or keep your personal files, unless it is needed for the service you asked for (for example, data recovery or a backup) and you authorize it.
8. How long we keep it
We keep information as long as needed to serve you, maintain our business relationship or meet legal obligations. This includes ticket history and the attendance, payroll and correction records used by the company. This policy does not set a single retention period for all records.
You can request information about retention or deletion at info@techconnectdr.com. We review each request considering the type of data, the requester's authority and applicable obligations. Closing a ticket, deactivating an employee or signing out does not delete their records.
9. How we protect it
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss or alteration. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data protected.
The portal uses a number and a private link to view the ticket and its public replies. Anyone with that link can access that information, so treat it as a credential and share it only with authorized people. Attachments are stored privately and the authorized team can open them through temporary links.
The time clock separates company data and applies role permissions. Owners and Tech Connect administrators can access payroll data; supervisors work with attendance without seeing pay amounts. PINs are verified using hashes on the server; the offline queue described above keeps the required PIN on the clock computer while the record is pending.
Do not send passwords, banking details or unnecessary personal information in tickets, attachments or absence notes. The time clock does not use a camera or GPS location to record punches.
10. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you. Email info@techconnectdr.com and we will reply as soon as possible.
If you are an employee of a company using the time clock, you can also contact your employer to review or correct your records. The company manages its employees, schedules, permissions and payroll rules; Tech Connect provides the tool and technical support. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with the company before handling a request about its records.
11. Minors
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
12. Processing outside your country
Providers used to operate the website, email, notifications and tools may process information outside your country. This includes the Supabase database in the eastern United States region. You can contact us to clarify which services are involved in your case.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date of the latest update appears at the top of this page.
